The Vets4Pets team carried out a sponsored walk in the summer and staff member Sandy Bhalla Pentney also had her head shaved in aid of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Last Monday (November 14), staff took their fundraising total to almost £1,000 by holding a Type Onesie day, with the team coming to work sporting weird and wacky outfits. Vets4Pets was inspired to raise funds for the foundation by Sandys son Evan, 7, who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in October 2015. Sandy said: In continuing our support for the charity, we took part in Type Onesie day. All staff came to work wearing onesies, and we sold homemade cakes on the day.
