A Huntingdon care home is in the running for prestigious national awards.
Ferrars Hall Care Home has been in the Best Innovation in Care Award and Best End of Life Team at the Caring UK Awards, a new annual event which recognises excellence and achievement within the care sector.
The awards are organised by Script Events in conjunction with care industry magazine Caring UK, and in each category up to six finalists have been selected, who will now go through to the next stage of the judging process where they will be out to impress by showcasing first hand the great work going on in their homes.
Trophies will then be presented at a ceremony on December 8 in York.
Julie Britten, manager at Ferrars Hall, said: “I’m absolutely delighted that our wonderful, committed team at Ferrars Hall have received this nomination. Not only does this go to show how dedicated, loving and hardworking our staff are, but it shows that Ferrars Hall is simply a wonderful place to live and work.”
