St Patrick’s Day themed evening in Hunts village raises �1,500 for charity

TWO businesswomen raised more than �1,500 for two charities in a St Patrick’s Day themed evening.

Claire Smith and Xanthe Randall celebrated their birthdays by holding the fundraising event on March 17 at ????? in aid of Dogstrust and East Anglia Children’s Hospices (EACH).

Ceilidh band Ivel Valley performed throughout the night, which raised �1,525.33 that was shared between the charities. The night also featured a ploughmans dinner, with bread supplied by Morrisons near Stanground.

A raffle an auction which included prizes from Huntingdon-based Hotel Chocolat, Frosts garden centre in Brampton, Crafty Ideas, Wades, Cromwell Vets and Bennett’s the Bakers, all in Ramsey, and TDA and APA Services for a decorator of the day.
