St Neots Town Centre Manager Katie Williams is set to leave St Neots Town Council next week after two “fantastic” years in the role.
Mrs Williams will make a career move to the University of Northampton to take up a position as a senior marketing officer.
Her last day will be on November 8.
She said: “It has been fantastic, I have developed really great relationships with all of the town stakeholders and hopefully they will agree that I have developed some positive projects for them over the last two years and brought in some great events.
“For me it is a great career opportunity and I am excited and looking forward to taking on a new challenge.”
A Personnel Committee meeting was held on Tuesday evening to discuss selecting Mrs Williams’s replacement.
