Ollie Ruff and Elliott Haylett joined some of the Arsenal first team squad at a special Christmas party held at the club’s training ground.
The duo, both aged 11, and students at Longsands Academy, entered a competition to attend the Christmas party and from those entries, 200 were picked to join some of the first-team squad for an afternoon of Christmas fun.
Ollie’s mum, Sammi said: “It was great that the boys were given this opportunity. They had a great time meeting all of the players.”
The afternoon was made up of a range of activities including a signing session in the press conference room, meeting club mascot Gunnersaurus and joining the players in the sports hall for a range of football challenges.
Club captain, Mikel Arteta, said: “The whole team really enjoyed the Junior Gunner Christmas party and it was fantastic to be able to welcome so many of our young supporters at the training ground.”
