A GROUP of mums from St Neots are embarking on an afternoon of Hallowe’en fun in aid of Hinchingbrooke Hospital’s Special Care Baby Unit.
Amy Penfold, 28, and Keri Honey, 30, are hosting the event at Jubilee Hall, Eaton Socon, on October 31 and hope to collect money that will be matched, pound for pound by the town’s branch of Barclays Bank.
Amy, of Russell Street, told The Hunts Post: “We wanted to raise money for a charity that is lesser known. This seemed perfect, and is a cause close to many of our friends’ hearts. Businesses in the town have been so supportive with prize donations from Barretts, Co-op, Tesco, St Neots sweet shop and many more.
“We just want people to come along and have a great time.”
INFORMATION: The Hallowe’en Afternoon takes place on Wednesday, October 31, at the Jubilee Hall between noon and 4pm. There will be prizes for the best-dressed Hallowe’en costume – adults and children – as well as plenty of games and fun. Adults 1, children 50p.
