The 16 year old, of Princes Drive, St Neots, was rushed to Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge and is currently in a medically-induced coma to enable him to recover from his injuries. Police have confirmed the teenager is still in a critical condition and is expected to remain in the coma until the beginning of next week. The incident happened on Friday, April 24, at 5.30pm in a wooded area next to a farmers field in Howitts Lane, close to a railway bridge and Henbrook Park. Detective Constable Tom Nuttall said: Connor is still in a very serious way and I am determined to get to the bottom of what happened in that woods on Friday. I would like to speak with anyone who may know why the rope was tied to those trees, or who may have put it there. We know there were a lot of people in the local area at the time and Im asking any parents who know their children were out in the area to contact police. Any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, could assist with our investigation. INFORMATION: Anyone with information should contact DC Nuttall on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
