STAFF from St Neots’ Costa Coffee got on their bikes to raise money for a good cause.

Eight staff members joined forces to cycle 160 miles on a static bike which had been specially hired for the occasion.

The event was in aid of the Costa Foundation which was set up by the coffee giant in 2006 to improve social and economic welfare within coffee-growing communities.

Up to now it has provided 160 classrooms for children in various countries and supervisor Emma Wyse hopes this is just the start.

“We raised 430 on the day by the sheer generosity of the public and we hope to reach our target of 600 to go towards this great cause.”
