The Brits are known as a nation of tea drinkers but do you want to find out more about the ancient art of a Chinese brew?
A Chinese Tea Ceremony is being hosted by acupuncturist Joanne Johnson and visitors can sample such delights as Oolong and Monkey Pick Tea.
Joanne will perform a strict tea ceremony called Gonfu, which means “making tea with effort” but says there will also be an element of fun at the event at Café Fresco in Cross Keys Mews, St Neots.
Ms Johnson said: “I am passionate about tea and its health benefits and also the ancient traditions and rules of making tea and I want to share what I have learned.”
Money raised will go to Samuel Pepys School, St Neots where Ms Johnson’s 11-year-old son is a pupil.
INFORMATION: The Chinese Tea Ceremony is on Sunday, March 1 and starts at 2pm.
