St Ives Youth Theatre could be chosen to perform at the National Theatre in London.

The group (SIYT) is one of 150 clubs across the country performing one of 10 new one-act plays.

The National Theatre Connections Programme will see plays performed locally and regionally, with the best invited to London.

SIYT will present theirs this week at St Ives Corn Exchange. Follow Follow, set in Northern Ireland, was written by prize-winning scriptwriter, Katie Douglas, and tells of how a gang forms and events spiral out of control.

On May 1, SIYT will take Follow Follow to The Garage Theatre in Norwich.
