A colourful array of fruits and vegetables took pride of place at the annual St Ives Town Show.
The event, which took place on Saturday at the St Ives Corn Exchange, had a wide range of categories for people to enter, including fruit, vegetables, flowers, jam making, baking, home brewing, arts and crafts and photography.
This year’s show had 400 entries from 45 different people and, for the first time, gave visitors the chance to vote for their favourite pieces.
Christine Curtis, one of the show team members, said: “It went really well, we give out the RHS Banksian Medal to the person who scores the highest points in the agricultural categories, and we also give a medal to the person that scores the most points overall. This year, Sheila Flude won both the awards which was great. It was great to see so many people turn up and we are very thankful for our generous sponsors and we look forward to next year’s event.”
