POLICE have released CCTV images of a man after a thief walked out of a St Ives jewellery store with �1500 worth of goods.

POLICE have released CCTV images of a man after a thief walked out of a St Ives jewellery store with �1500 worth of goods.

The culprit picked the lock of a glass cabinet at Hyperion Antiques and Showroom in Station Road before helping themselves to a gold watch and six rings.

Police have released images of a man they want to speak to in connection with the theft, which happened in the morning of November 5.

PC Jonathan Marshall, investigating, said: “This was a high-value theft and I appeal to anyone who has been offered a gold watch or rings for sale in recent weeks to call police.

“We are keen to speak to the man pictured on CCTV as we believe he may have vital information to help our investigation.

“If you recognise this man, please call police.”
