An opticians will donate more than 200 pairs of unwanted and old glasses to help save the sight of people in developing countries.
Specsavers St Ives runs a glasses recycling scheme in partnership with Vision Aid Overseas.
Donated specs will be recycled and the proceeds made from selling the reusable material will be used to support the charity’s work.
Director of the Foundry Walk store, Sandip Patel, said: “Through donating glasses for Vision Aid Overseas we can help the charity in its mission to help save the sight of those less fortunate then ourselves.”
