AN elderly St Ives man broke his shoulder when he fell down a flight of stairs in his home.
Magpas Helimedix Dr Jon Birks and paramedic Donna White were called to a house in St Ives at 9.20pm on Sunday by paramedic, and Magpas volunteer, Jo Lambert.
The man, in his 60s, was unconscious after he fell down a full flight of stairs and had suffered a serious facial injury and broken shoulder.
When the Helimedix arrived, the man had regained consciousness, and they gave him pain relief and helped an ambulance crew escort the man out of the house.
The team accompanied the man to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, where he arrived in a stable condition.
