Genesis hairdressers in St Ives have been raising funds for the children’s hospital since the beginning of the year. In February, staff held a charity open day with a raffle and cake sale while offering free treatments to guests. They raised £700 on the day.
On May 4 and 5 salon staff, Laura Nicol, Leigh-Anne Fagg, Lisa Mcguigan and Aron Mohammed cycled around Ibiza travelling 90 miles as part of John Frieda’s HAIRraising event. This took the salon’s fundraising for the year to a total of £9,000.
