The town’s Time Bank is offering an IT workshop this Saturday (March 22) when anyone can take along their equipment and learn more about how it works and how to use it.

A spokesman said: “We are very excited to be holding our first informal IT workshop, where we are asking people to bring along their laptop, tablet, iPad, mobile phone or anything else they need help with.

“Our Time Bank members will be on hand to advise on anything from navigating Facebook securely to design work.”

It will be held in the ACE Suite, St Ives Corn Exchange, 1pm-3.30pm and there will be free refreshments.

St Ives Time Bank, which was launched in October, has six organisational members and more than 30 individual members offering skills and knowledge as diverse as ironing, marketing, removals, dog walking, piano playing, therapeutic companion gardening, sewing, and lots more.
