A PROPERTY expert company in St Ives has donated �2,000 to a Sue Ryder hospice centre.
Staff at Move with Us, a company that supports a national network of more 1,200 estate agents, hold a dress down day one a month in return for a donation to charity.
Alison Toomey, corporate fundraiser at Thorpe Hall Hospice, invited members of the Move with Us team to the Peterborough hospice to see the benefits of their donation.
Ms Toomey said: “Each year we care for around 400 people from across the Cambridgeshire area who are suffering from life limiting or complex medical conditions.
“To continue to provide this specialist care, we must raise at least �1million every year. The money donated by Move with Us will therefore make a huge difference to our fundraising and we are extremely grateful that they chose to support us with such a fantastic donation.”
Caroline Hart, human resources director at Move with Us, based at the Grant Hall offices in the St Ives Industrial Estate, said: “We were delighted to be able to make a donation to such a worthy cause.”
