The traditional carnival parade kicked events off on Saturday leading to Hill Rise Park where the entertainment, which had a TV and film theme this year, took place - followed by the popular Proms in the Park concert in the evening, featuring Huntingdonshire Concert Band and a firework finale.

This year’s parade featured a colourful array of groups, including a pipe band and majorettes, and dance groups.

On Sunday the music festival returned with performances by bands running from midday through to 9pm.

The event celebrated its 19th year and the whole weekend was free to visitors, supported by donations, grants and sponsorship.
