A rap video containing every Harry Potter spell has reached more than 100,000 views on YouTube, thanks to a recording studio in Huntingdon.

The internet hit - Avada Kebabra - was put together at Midnight Rainbow Recording by musician Alex Day and recording engineer George Reece, both 27.

Old friends, the pair met up after Alex - a self-confessed Potter fan - had an idea to make a rap using every spell in the best-selling books, from expelliarmus to locomotor mortis.

"Alex is very good at these exciting spur of the moment projects and running with it," George told The Hunts Post.

"My whole generation was excited by Harry Potter and it got a whole lot of people into reading and that stories could be great fun."

The video, which sets the spells around the plot of a kebab shop, took three hours to write, a day to record, and features Alex rapping for almost three minutes.

The recording studio is based in Cromwell Drive.
