A BENCH in memory of Matthew Elliott has been fitted at Brampton Memorial Hall.
It was funded by donations which were collected at a memorial football match held in August for the Hinchingbrooke School pupil.
Matthew, 17, died in July when he lost control of his bike and crashed just three days after passing his test.
His parents Paul and Alison Staff (pictured), of Brecon Way, Huntingdon, said the bench would be a lasting tribute to Matthew at the ground where he had spent so much time playing football.

The Matthew Elliott Memorial Cup was contested between Brampton Spartans and Huntingdon Rowdies, Matthew’s two former teams, a team of his friends from Hinchingbrooke School and former work colleagues from Sainsbury’s in Huntingdon.
Money was raised by donations and a raffle at the game, with prizes donated by Brampton businesses. The clubs plan to make the match a regular event to be held at the end of each season.
