A SOMERSHAM man was taken to hospital with a severe leg injury after a fall at his home on Saturday morning.
Magpas Helimedix Dr Jon Birks and paramedic Jo Lambert arrived at 10.05am and sedated the man, in his 60s, before straightening his lower leg.
A Hazardous Area Response Team also attended and helped remove the man from his home.
The man was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. On arrival, he was in a stable condition.
