No incidents have been reported on the A14, but traffic is snarled up around Godmanchester coming into Huntingdon. Three schools have closed in Cambridgeshire - Elton Primary School, Ditton Lodge First School and Welland Primary School - with the majority remaining open.
The Met office has predicted freezing conditions for today and tomorrow with temperatures plummeting to -3 C tonight, but sun and temperatures of 2 and 3 C are forecast for the weekend.
