A group of professional singers are looking for more community events to showcase their talents ... and all for free.

The Hepmangrove Singers, under the direction of music teacher Richard Batty, can perform various musical genres, including 60s and 70s music, songs from musicals and classics from both world wars.

The group, which formed in 1987 from a choir, sing at functions and events and put on their own concerts.

"Our aim is to provide live entertainment in the local community to anyone who wants to hear us," said Mr Batty.

"We thoroughly encourage people to come to our concerts to have a sing along with us."

The group, from Bury, have been known as The Hepmangrove Singers since 2000 and took their name from the historic name for the village.
