Police are appealing for information after windows at a St Neots school were smashed for the second time in a month.
Between 10pm on March 23 and 6.30am on March 24 vandals smashed the panes at Longsands Academy, in Longsands Road.
This follows a previous incident between 9pm on February 24 and 8.30am on February 25 where windows and a security light were damaged.
Head teacher Martin Paine said: “The costs to resolve the damage and to ensure our students have a safe and enjoyable learning environment is considerable.
“The monies being spent to rectify the reckless and unwarranted actions of a minority group within the community has a negative impact on vital resources that we should be using for the benefit of all of our students.”
PC Carl Harris added: “I would urge anyone who may know who is responsible for this criminal damage to get in touch with police.”
Anyone with information should call police on 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via https://crimestoppers-uk.org
