SAFER Routes to Schools is now inviting applications from Cambridgeshire primary and secondary schools to join the project. Applications must be retuned by May 1.
This project aims to create a safe, healthy environment so that children and young people can travel to and from school using sustainable forms of transport, such as cycling and walking, at the same time increasing health and fitness.
There are many benefits for a school taking part, including healthier pupils and staff, reduced congestion around the school and safer routes for the whole community.
