FOUR men used a sledgehammer to smash their way into a Hemingford petrol station and steal a safe.
The men, who were wearing balaclavas and gloves, broke into the Hemingford Esso service station in London Road at 3.30am on Thursday (February 21).
The safe contained a case.
“I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident or who has information about the men responsible,” Detective Constable Karin Peters said.
Anyone with information should call Cambridgeshire police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
