Volunteers from the St Neots Round Table collected more than £300 for Children in Need appeal.
A group of six members from the organisation, which is currently touring around the town with its charity Christmas float, took a ‘Pudsey’ into the town on November 18 and dropped into pubs, starting at the George and Dragon in Eaton Socon and finishing at The Priory, to collect for the appeal, which raised £46.4 million nationally this year.
“Once again, the evening’s revellers of St Neots dug deep for Children In Need, this year raising more than £300 for charity.” said Round Table member Chris Lawrence.
“We are thrilled with the result and Pudsey would like to pass on his thanks to everyone he met on the night for all their kind donations and for all the cuddles and dances he also enjoyed throughout the evening.”
