A St Bernard is to take to the national stage once again in the hope of catching the eyes of the judges at the world-famous Crufts.

Ruth Gibson’s dog, The Great Gatsby, who is two-years-old, will take his place amongst more than 24,000 entries this year to showcase his skills.

Gatsby, who lives in Sawtry, will take part in the display for the Kennel Club’s

Good Citizen Dog Scheme.

The Good Citizen scheme is the largest dog training programme in the UK and aims to promote responsible dog ownership.
