A car careered into a garden wall following a collision in Ramsey.

Cambridgeshire police were called shortly before 8am after reports that three cars had collided in High Street, near St Thomas a Becket Church.

A grey Audi hit a garden wall before colliding with Gathercole and Ward opticians. A silver Renault and Nissan were also involved in the incident.

A spokesman for the force confirmed that one of the cars had collided with a garden wall but added that there were no reports of serious injuries.

High Street was partially blocked at its junction with the B1040 Great Whyte while police worked to clear the scene. The road was re-opened to traffic again shortly before 10am.
