RESIDENTS were evacuated from their homes after a car fire in Huntingdon.
The blaze took place in The Whaddons at about 9pm on Saturday, August 28.
Offenders set fire to a vehicle which was parked in the rear garden of a home.
One fire crew from Huntingdon was called at 9.05pm, and used two hose reels to extinguish the fire. The crew returned to base at 9.45pm.
A spokesman for the fire service confirmed that the cause of the fire was deliberate.
