Purse snatchers distracted an elderly woman in a charity shop to steal from her during two thefts in Huntingdon.
Between 10.45am and 10.50am on Wednesday (May 7), a teenage girl and an older woman took the purse of the 80-year-old victim while she browsed in the British Heart Foundation shop on the High Street.
The offenders are described as a white female aged between 21 and 40 years old with long, wavy, mousy-brown coloured hair and a black female aged between 11 and 15 years old, with short, black, afro-style hair.
The second incident took place in Iceland, also on the High Street. The thieves were not seen in this incident but a purse is also reported to have been stolen from the female victim’s bag.
Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
