Pupils from Longsands Academy in St Neots visited The Hillings nursing home on Armistice Day to present a poppy display.
The Year 10 pupils spoke to some of the residents about their war-time experiences and were told how frightening it was to hear the sirens and use the air raid shelters. Residents gathered in a lounge area and heard a talk from the pupils and a poppy display was presented to the nursing home in Grenville Way.
