Dust off your BMX or skates and head for the Stukeley Meadows Skatepark for an afternoon of competition.

The annual contest is being held on Saturday, September 20 and will cater for BMX and scooter riders, skateboarders and inline skaters.

Ady Bright, a former British King of Dirt champion, who is organising the event with Andy DeAth, of Huntingdon Furniture Warehouse, said: “Our aim is to get the kids in Huntingdon and surrounding villages off the PCs and games consoles for the day.”

As well as the action on the ramps, there will be music and a DJ throughout the day and a show for classic and modified cars and motorbikes.

Registration is from 10am until 12noon and helmets must be worn by all those who take part. There are a stack of prizes up for grabs, provided by businesses.

INFORMATION: The action starts from 12noon.
