A new shop is set to open in St Neots.
The store, which will welcome its first customers on June 5, is thought to be moving into a vacant unit across from Argos, a space formerly occupied by the Co-op in Tebbutts Road.
Known for selling branded toiletries, cleaning supplies and other things, the shop will bring a number of new jobs to the town.
Poundstretcher isn’t the only store set to open in St Neots, recently a new independent food and drink shop, Shume, opened its doors in Cross Keys Mews, selling artisan drinks and food items.
A new spectacles and sunglasses shop, K and M specs, has also opened in the town in the last month.
Poundstretcher is advertising a number of new jobs available at its St Neots store, including part time sales assistant roles.
