Officers will launch a week-long crackdown on speeding in Huntingdonshire as part of a European-wide campaign.
Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Units will be enforcing speed limits using laser speed devices and unmarked cars from Monday next week (August 17) to Sunday 23.
Inspector Mark Rogers said: “I would urge anyone to drive within the lawful speed limits.
“However, I would like to point out that it is not always appropriate to drive at the speed limit depending on the road conditions.
“The limit is not a target”
This is the second time that forces in the area have taken part in The European Traffic Police Network (TISPOL) campaign this year.
