A cannabis factory was discovered in Ramsey this morning (Wednesday) following a search by police.

The factory was found in a property in Great Whyte and a number of plants were seized from the scene.

It is unclear how many plants were discovered in the premises.

Police also took paraphernalia from the scene that was being used for the cultivation of the plants.

A spokesman for Cambridgeshire police described it as “a fully functioning cannabis factory”.

The spokesman added that no arrests have been made at this stage.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact Cambridgeshire police on 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
