THREE cars were seized by police in Huntingdonshire on Tuesday (November 6) during a day of action to deal with traffic offences.
Cambridgeshire police said officers stopped a number of vehicles in Huntingdon, Godmanchester and Brampton between 8am and 1pm.
Three uninsured vehicles were seized, 10 people were fined for not wearing a seatbelt, four drivers were caught using a mobile phone and eight tickets were issued regarding tinted windows.
A driver was also stopped for having a windscreen obscured with frost while another was caught with a registration plate not conforming to regulations.
Two verbal warnings were given for under inflated tyres and one ticket was issued for going through a red light.
Sergeant Gordon Murray said: “We will continue to carry out these days of action to ensure vehicles are roadworthy and not posing a danger to other road users.”
