St Neots police have issued this image of a man they want to talk to in connection with the theft of a charity tin.
The image is taken from CCTV footage at the St Neots Museum at about 4.20pm on Saturday, June 25.
Museum curator Liz Davies contacted The Hunts Post after one of her colleagues read our story about the theft of charity tins in St Neots the previous week and realised the museum’s tin had gone missing from the counter.
She said: “The museum is run by volunteers, and although it receives some funding, it is still reliant on donations. We were shocked that someone could just walk in off the street and take it from the counter.”
If you have any information about the theft of the charity tin or recognise the man in the photograph, contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
