POLICE have released CCTV images of two men they would like to speak to in connection with a late-night assault in St Ives.

A 23-year-old man suffered a fractured jaw in the attack outside St Ives Chicken and Kebab in The Broadway at about 1am on Sunday, March 24.

Detective Constable Liz Cooper, who is leading the investigation, said: “I am keen to hear from anyone who recognises these two men as they could hold important information which could assist our inquiry.

“The area was quite busy at the time and I would urge anyone who witnessed the assault to call police.

“The offenders were in a group of about five men at the time of the incident and we are keen to speak to all of them.”

Anyone with any information should call DC Cooper on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
