PART of Huntingdon was cut off as police talked to a man threatening to jump from a bridge.
Officers were called at 2.37pm today (Wednesday) to Coneygear Road following concerns for a man on the bridge over the road.
Sallowbush Road, Nene Road and Coneygear Road were closed as two officers spoke to the man, a spokesman for the force said.
The man, who was believed to have been sitting on the bridge for about three hours, was coaxed from the area by a police officer.
Roads in the area were closed but were opened again shortly after the end of the incident.
