THE cyclist killed in a collision on the A428 on Saturday has been named by police. Colin Neil Roberts, 53, man was hit by a white Ford Transit van on the eastbound carriageway of the A428, between Dry Drayton and Cambourne at around 7.17pm. Mr Roberts, of Southern Road, Hall Green, Birmingham, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle, a 30-year-old man from London was not injured, but a 41-year-old passenger also from London suffered minor injuries. A police spokesman confirmed that a 30-year-old man from London has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has been bailed to appear at Parkside Police Station on December 1. Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision. A three-year-old child was killed in a collision on the B1063 near Newmarket at 7.12pm on Saturday, and a 36-year-old motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries in a collision on the A10 near Stretham at 6.10am on Saturday.
