SIX people have been arrested on suspicion of hare coursing in Sawtry this morning (Friday).
Officers received reports that a number of people were acting suspiciously on a piece of land off Gidding Road at 8.20am.
A police helicopter was launched and aided in the arrest of four men and two boys.
The men, aged 24, 34, 36 and 42, and the boys, aged 12 and 15, have been summonsed to court for hare coursing/poaching. Officers seized cash, two vehicles and a dog.
The 24-year-old was also held on suspicion of two distraction burglaries. He remains in custody at Huntingdon Police Station.
