Police discovered a pillowcase filled with jewellery in St Neots at the weekend and have appealed for anyone who recognises any of the recovered items to come forward.
Detective Constable Jo Grant said the items in the pillowcase were believed to be stolen and were found discarded on January 12. Among the haul were several watches, bracelets, a pendant, and necklaces.
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire police said: “We were called at 9.06pm on January 12, with reports of a pillowcase of jewellery being discovered in Arundel Crescent, Eynesbury.”
The spokesman said that a resident found the pillowcase discarded in their garden and reported it.
