Huntingdon officers, along with members of the Rural Crime Action Team and Cambridgeshire polices tactical team carried out a warrant on a property in the village last Wednesday (May 24), at about 9.30pm. During a search of the property more than 10 cannabis plants were discovered, as well as a significant quantity of cannabis and three vans carrying growing equipment. Officers also found a host of stolen machinery and transport including a caravan, two quad bikes and two horse boxes. An Ifor Williams tipper trailer - which police believe may have been stolen, two twin axle flatbed trailers and a sprayer were also found at the scene. A spokesman for Cambridgeshire police said that an investigation into what was discovered at the site is currently ongoing.
