A cannabis factory has been found in Eaton Socon this morning (Tuesday) following a search by police on an industrial estate.
The factory was found in Little End Road and a “large amount” of cannabis plants were seized from the unit.
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire police told The Hunts Post that “two main tents along with one smaller tent were found in a small unit” – both tents were set up with hydroponics.
“One of the tents contained 11 plants, one tent had 19 jars full of cannabis harvested and the small had a number of seedlings planted.”
Police took the hydroponic set-up from the scene, which was being used for the cultivation of the plants and have destroyed the paraphernalia.
During the executed warrant, under the Misuse of Drugs Act, a trailer was also searched but nothing was found.
