The alleged offences took place in Abbotsley, St Ives, Earith, Yaxley and Bar Hill, near Cambridge, during which two vehicles, a BMW 5 series M sport and an Audi S5, were stolen. According to a spokesman for Cambridgeshire police, both of the cars have since been recovered. Those charged were: Felix Rooney, 24, of Aspen Green, in Huntingdon with one count of conspiracy to commit burglary, one count of burglary, one count of dangerous driving and another of driving without insurance. Lawrence Rooney, 23, of Aspen Green, in Huntingdon with conspiracy to commit burglary and two counts of burglary. A 16-year-old from Huntingdon has been charged with one count of conspiracy to commit burglary and one count burglary. A 17-year-old from Letchworth has been charged with one count of conspiracy to commit burglary and one count of burglary. All four appeared at Cambridge Magistrates Court on January 28 and have been remanded in custody, with the exception of the 16-year-old, who has been granted bail. The quartet will appear at Cambridge Magistrates Court for their next hearing on February 25.
