The body of a woman in her 40s has been found at a property in Fenstanton.
Police were called at 8.37am to Bell Lane yesterday morning (May 1), after a report of sudden death by the ambulance service.
A rapid response vehicle had been dispatched to the property after a call to the ambulance service said a woman was in cardiac arrest, with another crew, ambulance officer and air ambualnce from Magpas also attending.
A spokesman for the service said: “Sadly nothing could be done for the woman and she was pronounced dead at the scene.”
Police added that the death is being treated as “unexplained” and a post mortem is due to take place.
