Police moved to arrest two men after reports of an altercation in Huntingdon this morning (Tuesday).

Officers were called to The Whaddons at about 10am and made two arrests.

A spokesman for Cambridgeshire Constabulary said: “Officers have arrested two men, aged 39 and 34, on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm in Huntingdon at about 10am.”

The spokesman added that the two men remain in custody at Thorpe Wood police station, in Peterborough, while investigations are ongoing. A cordon was put in place around The Whaddons while detectives examined the scene.
