A man in his 20s from the St Neots area has been arrested on suspicion of possessing an air-weapon in a public place after an incident in Eaton Socon this morning.
He is currently in custody at Thorpe Wood Police Station in Peterborough.
Armed police were called at about 9.30am this morning (Thursday) after recieving reports of a man carrying a suspected firearm in Marchioness Way, Eaton Socon. Officers attended and a firearm, believed to be an air rifle, was recovered.
