Police appeal following town centre attack
POLICE are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in an unprovoked attack in Huntingdon town centre
The 30 year old victim was in The Walks on his way home from work around 4.30pm on Tuesday, October 26 when he was approached by another man, who tried to shake hands with him.
Instead he grabbed the victim and pushed him against a fence. The victim managed to break away but was grabbed a second time.
The offender then ran off towards Huntingdon bus station when a woman walked past.
Detective Constable Liz Cooper, investigating, said: “This was an unprovoked assault in a busy part of town.”

The offender is described as Asian, aged in his 30s, 5ft and slightly stocky. He was wearing a dark blue beanie hat and a dark blue tracksuit with a white motif.
